Meet Our CLT Trainer — Roxanne
I’m Roxanne, a senior consultant and trainer for iTutorGroup. I have been teaching online with iTutorGroup since 2017 but have been an ESL teacher since 2002.
When I started teaching online, I quickly realized that the community was huge and it felt a tad impersonal. That’s why I always found the live trainings important to feel more connected with iTutorGroup. And now, our new CLT format is even more personal! You can join the conversation with the new “raise your hand” function.
I love sharing my class tips, meeting teachers, and helping out! Feel free to talk about your concerns, challenges and successes in our CLT.
A little more about me …
I grew up in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada. Montreal is a cosmopolitan city and it has influenced my love for different cultures. I love languages and meeting people of different cultural backgrounds.
I believe one of the best ways to experience and understand people of other cultures is to actually live among them which is why I moved to Taiwan in 2003. Taiwan is a beautiful island. The people are friendly and hospitable. I learned quite a bit while teaching adults and children in the local schools of Taiwan.
Besides teaching online, I am also a volunteer in a worldwide non-profit organization which has also helped me improve my skills as a teacher. I love meeting new people and hope to meet you too!
