Busy as a beaver! Keep your student occupied with this activity!

If you strive for maximum learning for all your students, then allowing kids to be stuck in ‘dead time’ feels like a small betrayal.
How do you avoid the ‘Dead time’ and keep your student occupied?
Check out the video below with classroom examples about playing Treasure Hunt!

Hey!! What were the emojis you accessed in the class? How do I get them?

Hey guys! It’s Jen from the video. 😊 To use the emojis on a Windows computer you press the Windows key and the period key ( full stop) at the same time I don’t recall how to do it on an Apple computer, but you can google “apple emoji keyboard” and someone should have a link with a quick explanation

🍕🍜🍨😀👍 Haha, that works like a charm.
Now I also know how the kids do this even though they have not been given the pencil. Mystery solved.

This is a nice tip to erase the cheese and pretending that the mouse is eating it… thank you

I found that is a chrome browser extension used to add emojis as you type.

Thanks for sharing these tips, Jen!!! The fun thing you did with the cheese being eaten by covering it with white pen is genius – I had never thought about that before. Great stuff! Tell me though, how do you get the emojis? It might sound stupid because I have taught with iTutor for almost one and a half years now, but I have never seen them!!! Please do tell. 😉

Jen, I liked your use of the white pen to white out the cheese. Nice tip.
